  30. WCross-references point the reader to a specific page, section number, figure or table 
  31. 9number, or to the title of a section, figure, or table.

  36. UYou can insert a cross-reference that points to any open document. After you edit a     
  37. 'document, update its cross-references.

  50. To insert a cross-reference:
  51. EOpen the document containing the information to be cross-referenced.
  52. GPut the insertion point where you want the cross-reference and choose     
  53. 'Cross-Reference from the Special menu.
  54. eIn the Cross-Reference dialog box

  57. :be cross-referenced from the Source Document pop-up menu.

  59. s paragraph formats appear in the Source Type scroll list.
  60. UIn the Source Type scroll list, select X-Ref Marker or a paragraph tag. For example, 
  61. Hif the cross-reference is to a heading, select the tag for the heading.
  62. KIn the Reference Source scroll list, select the marker or paragraph to be     
  63. cross-referenced.

  73. TAs you edit a document, cross-references may become incorrect due to changes in the ap

  75. ?Internal references (cross-references to the current document)
  76. !References to all open documents
  77. 2References to all documents, both open and closed
  78. To update cross-references:
  79. .Choose Cross-Reference from the Special menu.
